Wet Drywall- Peeling paint

Wet drywall can cause the layers of paint to start to peel. It does not need to be completely saturated either, as long as water is able to squeeze its way behind the paint, it will start to peel. Peeling paint can be a messy job, leaving your home kind of a mess. Call SERVPRO of Milwaukie/ Happy Valley, we know just how messy it can get. In these pictures, a customer had a small leak in a pipe which caused the drywall to be wet, causing the paint to peel. Even though not all of the drywall was wet, once paint starts to peel it tends to keep on peeling until it is either cut or an object is in the way.
